‘U.S’ Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will address a rally of Hindu-Americans in New Jersey on October 15 and half of the proceedings from the event will be used for the benefit of Kashmiri Pandits.<\/p>\n

The founder of Republican Hindu Coalition (RHC) Shalabh Kumar on Friday claimed that this is the first of its kind event where Mr. Trump is scheduled to address only one specific ethnic community.<\/p>\n

\u201c…This is a charity concert organised for the benefit of terror victims in various countries…The 50 per cent of the proceeds from this concert will go for the benefit of Kashmiri Pandits in India,\u201d Kumar told reporters here.Mr. Kumar is also Chairman of Indian American Advisory Council to the Republican Party.<\/p>\n

On the other hand,Donald Trump no longer wants to impose a total ban on Muslims entering the US, his running mate Mike Pence has said, indicating a disavow of one of its most provocative policy proposals by the Republican presidential nominee. \u201cIt is not Donald Trump\u2019s position now,\u201d Pence told CNN in an interview yesterday when asked about Trump\u2019s stated policy of banning Muslims from entering the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cDonald Trump has\u2026 Talked about putting the security of the American people first\u2026 And he\u2019s made it clear our position is, we\u2019re going to suspend immigration from countries compromised by terrorism,\u201d Pence argued.<\/p>\n

Pence said Trump has underscored on the need to suspend immigration from countries and territories that have been compromised by terrorism. \u201cI understand why you want to play the oldies, you want to talk about the where the campaign began or what statements were made, but the American people are focused on the policies that Donald Trump is articulating every day across this country,\u201d 57-year-old Pence said.<\/p>\n
