K Taraka Rama Raothe son of CM Chandrasekhar Rao said that he joined politics without the knowledge of his father. KCR wanted KTR to become an IAS officer.<\/p>\n
But KTR chose to join the politics by following the wall writings on the JNU in Delhi. \u201cMy entry into politics was without my father\u2019s knowledge in 2006 when Chandrashekhar Rao resigned as Union Minister in protest against the delay in carving out a separate Telangana State.<\/p>\n
I started out as a Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) worker,\u201d he said, adding that since he knew his father would oppose his entry into politics, he started working in the party without his knowledge.<\/p>\n
KTR was talking at the Kautilya college of Public policy. A wall writing in the campus that read \u201cwhen everything is decided by politics, you better decide what your future politics are\u2019, and I was intrigued by it,\u201d the Minister said during an interaction with students of Master of Public Policy (MPP) at GITAM University campus at Rudraram in Sangareddy district.<\/p>\n
