The people of Telangana have just started to live life after facing various types of problems in the last 100 years under kings, jagirdars, zamindars, landlords and colonial rulers Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao opined.<\/p>\n
\u201cTelangana is now on the right path as we are trying to set right all the sectors,\u201d the Chief Minister said, adding: \u201cApprehensions were raised when the Statehood movement was launched, but we achieved it. Many said that a 24-hour power supply was impossible. We made it possible.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen projects like Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme are conceived, many said it will not happen. But we completed it,\u201d he said. Agriculture, which was termed as waste, has turned into a festival after it became profitable he explained.<\/p>\n
KCR was speaking with Dalit association leaders, intellectuals, elected representatives and activists from Huzurabad who called on him at Pragathi Bhavan to thank him for appointing Banda Srinivas as the Chairman of Telangana State Scheduled Castes Development Corporation Limited.<\/p>\n
The CM said \u201cDalit habitats should be developed and should be devoid of fights, ill feelings and hatred,\u201d he said. He suggested lifting of cases that had been foisted against each other in the community.<\/p>\n
Efforts should be taken to support those who are falling. There should be no Dalit in poverty and that is the aim of the Dalit Bandhu, he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
