Industries and minister KT Rama Rao\u2019s son and grandson of KCR, K Himanshu Rao bagged the prestigious Diana Award for his initiative SHOMA \u2013 Making Villages Self-Sustainable.<\/p>\n
Himanshu is always in news by doing social work one way or the other. At a young age he walked into the state secretariat with his friends. He participated in various social programs.<\/p>\n
He also travelled with the CM KCR for some religious programs.<\/p>\n
Now he bagged the Diana award.\u201cDiana Awards honour young people who work to improve the lives of others. The award is the most prestigious accolade a young person aged between 9 and 25 years can receive for their social action or humanitarian work. It is named after Diana, Princess of Wales,\u201d Himanshu Rao tweeted on Monday.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith great delight, I announce that I have received my Diana Award for my tremendous initiative SHOMA \u2013 Making Villages Self-Sustainable. More details will be announced soon!\u201d he tweeted and thanked Diana Award for recognising his work. He thanked Chief Minister and his grandfather K Chandrashekhar Rao for guiding him in the implementation of the project.<\/p>\n
