Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekhar Rao announced that former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao\u2019s centenary celebrations would be held in a befitting way for one year beginning from June 28, which is PV\u2019s Birthday. Sri KCR said that PV rendered yeoman service as the Prime Minister, Freedom Fighter, Educationist, and Literary figure. A man with such extraordinary qualities hailed from Telangana is a moment of pride for the State. To recollect, recall the great services rendered by PV in various fields, it is decided to celebrate his centenary celebrations on a grand scale, the CM sai.<\/p>\n
In this regard, the CM appointed a Committee under the leadership of MP Dr K Keshav Rao. Government\u2019s Chief Advisor Sri Rajiv Sharma, PV\u2019s son Sri PV Prabhakar Rao, daughter Ms Vani Devi, Ministers from Karimnagar Sri Etela Rajender, Sri KT Rama Rao, Official Language Commission Chairman Sri Devulapalli Prabhakar Rao, Central Sahitya Academy awardee and noted writer \u201cAmpasayya\u201d Naveen will be members in the Committee. The CM asked Dr Keshav Rao to include 6 to 7 members more in the Committee. The first meeting of the Committee will be held at Dr Keshav Rao\u2019s house on Thursday at 2.30 PM.
