In a meeting held at Darbar hall with senior officials from IT companies in twin cities Hon\u2019ble Governor and President, Indian Red Cross Society, (IRCS) Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan has appealed to all I.T and other corporate institutions to encourage their employees to enroll themselves as Red Cross members.<\/p>\n

The Governor asked the IT professionals to download the Red Cross Society \u201cApp\u201d which was released recently by Hon\u2019ble President of India at Rajbhavan during his southern sojourn recently. Hon\u2019ble President has also written a D.O. letter appreciating her efforts of the membership drive for IRCS. Red Cross Society\u2019s \u201cApp\u201d is user-friendly
\nand requested the young IT professionals to utilize the services of the Red Cross Society.<\/p>\n

Red Cross Society has been synonymous with several voluntary services and pioneer in organizing blood banks, Nature cure centres, and Old age homes to serve the poor in the state. The governor underlined the importance of blood banks and organizing blood
\ndonation camps to save the lives of many, she said.<\/p>\n
