Baba Ramdev, who enjoys \u2018Most Favoured Baba\u2019 status in Andhra Pradesh is planning to make the state his second most important base in India after Uttarakhand.<\/p>\n

Baba has acquired about 200 acres of land near Naidupeta in Nellore district to set up a manufacturing unit for the Patanjali products including his proposed jeans.<\/p>\n

Naidupeta is one of the six places he has selected to set shop to expand his business empire. The facility will produce all health products to cater to the demand of Southern states. Baba himself revealed his plan to the media in his Haridwar’s Sant Ashram.<\/p>\n

Huge procurement of Red Sanders from Andhra Pradesh forest department has strengthened the bond between Naidu’s government and Baba Ramdev. At a time when, the state government was struggling to find a buyer for its stockpiled Red Sanders, which is available only in Andhra Pradesh, Baba had come forward and bought 706 MTs of the precious wood.<\/p>\n

He was the only major buyer in the domestic market fetching the state about \u20b9207 crore. Baba is expected to use Red Sanders as an ingredient in his Ayurvedic medicines and incense sticks.<\/p>\n

Now a biopic on yoga guru Baba Ramdev would be telecast on TV. Indian TV channel Sony Entertainment Television (SET) will telecast a 90-minute film on 1 May<\/span><\/span> on the life of the yoga guru. The film will also showcase his contribution to popularising Yoga and the business of his brand Patanjali Ayurved Ltd.<\/p>\n

The film has been funded by Baba\u2019s trust Patanjali Yogpeeth. The report also adds that the trust is working on similar deals with other Television channels. To reach out to a larger audience, his films would be dubbed into regional languages.<\/p>\n

The movie has been written and directed by former actress Kavita Chaudhry, who played the role of an IPS officer in Udaan in the 1980s.<\/p>\n

Baba Ramdev\u2019s brand in recent months has been challenging the dominant leaders of branded consumer items.<\/p>\n
