The inflow into the Hussainsagar was 4,000 cusecs, while the authorities were letting out about 2,500 cusecs. The full tank level of 513.40 metres was achieved and the present level was 513.70 metres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16582\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Rain-in-Hyderabad2.jpg\" alt=\"Rain-in-Hyderabad2\" width=\"1200\" height=\"630\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The GHMC authorities have decided to let water from the Hussainsagar and alerted people living in the low-lying areas along the course.Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao, who is in New Delhi to attend the Apex Council meeting convened by Union Water Resources Minister, called up GHMC Commissioner Janardhan Reddy and took stock of the situation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Anticipating another round of heavy rainfall, the Hyderabad Traffic police have advised people not to venture on to the roads unless urgent.Rains surprised Hyderabad with yet another heavy spell <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_655639896\"><span class=\"aQJ\">on Tuesday<\/span><\/span> evening.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16584\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/rain-hyd.jpg\" alt=\"rain hyd\" width=\"614\" height=\"304\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The twin cities of Hyderabad, Secunderabad along with Cyberabad woke up to flooded streets and floating vehicles owing to overnight rain that left many parts of the city in knee-deep waters. Downpour began in most parts of the city from the evening \u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_655639897\"><span class=\"aQJ\">on Tuesday<\/span><\/span> and continued till the early hours of Wendesday, leading to waterlogging on main roads and inner lanes. Minister Srinivas Yadav went round the submerged areas and inspected the relief operations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Most of the basthis in Greater Hyderabad were inundated as life in low-lying areas was thrown out of gear. Till <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_655639898\"><span class=\"aQJ\">8 a.m.<\/span><\/span>, Qutbullapur received the highest rainfall of 164.25 mm, followed by Malkajgiri and Madhapur at 90.75 mm and 74.25 mm, respectively.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Commuters had a tough time reaching their destinations due to damaged roads and traffic snarls <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_655639899\"><span class=\"aQJ\">on Tuesday<\/span><\/span> night. Begumpet, Yousufguda, Sainikpuri, Mehdipatnam, Malkajgiri and parts of Secunderabad were the worst affected.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The intensity of the rainfall increased over night till early in the morning.Now more rains are expected for the next 48 hours . People have been advised in Hyderabad not to come out and face the traffic snarls.
