But it actually marks the divinely inspired sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim in his path of divine love.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He agreed to sacrifice his beloved son, Ismail, when he was asked to sacrifice something most precious for God\u2019s pleasure. The most beloved to Ibrahim was his son\u2014Ismail\u2014who was born when both the parents were in old age.<a href=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/x16-quran.jpg.pagespeed.ic_.WPWrKBRMVq.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-161135 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/x16-quran.jpg.pagespeed.ic_.WPWrKBRMVq.jpg\" alt=\"BAKRID\" width=\"461\" height=\"346\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hazrat Ibrahim and his wife spent their early life without a child. After their constant prayers for a child, Ismail was given birth like a miracle. Even then, Ibrahim submitted his will to sacrifice his beloved son for the pleasure of God. This is narrated in the Quran:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWhen he was of an age to work with him, Ibrahim said, \u2018My son, I saw in a dream that I must sacrifice you. What do you think about this? \u2019Ismail said, \u2018Do as you are ordered, father.<br \/>\nGod willing, you will find me steadfast.\u2019 Allah ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice. So pray to your Allah and sacrifice\u201d.<a href=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/sacrificing-goats-on-bakrid-1534488910-lb.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-161148\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/sacrificing-goats-on-bakrid-1534488910-lb.jpg\" alt=\"BAKRID\" width=\"528\" height=\"303\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The city of Hyderabad is already filled with goats and sheep for the sake if sacrificing them for the festival. The Muslims not only take them but they also distribute the meat to others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A sheep is costing around 10000 depending upon its weight and meat. If it is a heavy one then it also cost around Rs 15000.Temporary shelters are made with plastic sheets and the sheep are being sold now in the city.
