The Supreme Court today said that it was right to hang all the three in the Nirbhaya rape case and what they have done is a heinous crime against humanity. The court has struck down the review petition seeking that the death sentence should be converted into a lifetime for three criminals. The Court has upheld the judgement given earlier to hang them and no question of any review over the matter it stated.<\/p>\n

\nThe death is now confirmed for these Nirbhaya rapists. Mukesh 29, Pawan Gupta 22 and Vinay Sharma 23, were responsible for the rape in a moving bus and they were awarded death sentence by the court. Now they have given a review petition to convert the death into a life term. But the court rejected the request and said that they will hang. The fourth convict Akshay sing did not file any review petition and it continues. It was a gang rape and she was a medical student who lost her life.<\/p>\n

The woman was in the hospital for 16 days and fought for life and passed away. Later she was named as Nirbhaya. It became a sensation across the country and also in some parts of the world.The students were in a rage and wanted the Government to do justice.
