Now Sanjay Dutt will be seen essaying the role of an army officer in director Girish Malik\u2019s next, titled Torbaaz.<\/p>\n
Dutt loved the idea of Torbaaz and immediately gave a go ahead. In the film the actor plays an army officer who wants to give the \u2018children of war\u2019 a ray of hope, a release issued here said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am keen to be a part of films that are highly content driven. I want to create a memorable slate of films for my fans,\u201d Dutt said in a statement here.<\/p>\n

Torbaaz is based in Afghanistan and is a story about child suicide bombers of Afghanistan, who have been trained to believe that killing is a virtue and glory is in afterlife.<\/p>\n
The film is produced by Raju Chadha and Rahul Mittra.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am amazed at how easily and organically Sanju got into the world of Torbaaz. He is a very intelligent and evolved actor who has so much to offer. He was the first choice for me,\u201d Girish said.<\/p>\n
The film is likely to go on floors by 2017. Everyone was looking forward to what Sanjay Dutt would do next. The 56-year-old star walked out of Pune’s Yerwada Central Jail as a free man in February this year and he promised us that he would only do great films from now on.<\/p>\n
Well, bad news. Sanju Baba’s comeback film, which was to begin rolling in August this year, has reportedly been postponed.
