The rain came in the mid-summer and the temperatures have come down to a larger extent. Some trees were uprooted and the traffic came to stand still in Hyderabad. The sky turned dark by 4 pm in the evening and the commuters had a bit of difficulty in going out. Winds also lashed out in many parts of the city.<br \/>\nThe local met was giving the rain prediction since last two days but finally, it rained cats and dogs today changing the atmosphere and giving a whiff of cool air.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Himayathnagar, Narayan Guda and some parts of Musheerabad received heavy rail and some nalas in the area overflowed one or two retaining walls collapsed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Hyd-Main.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-145359\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Hyd-Main.jpg\" alt=\"Heavy rains lash Hyderabad\" width=\"452\" height=\"226\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The GHMC staff had a tough time in draining the stormwater.
