\nSALESFORCE.COM DEVELOPER – JOB DESCRIPTION
\nOVERALL EXPERIENCE
\nSFDC System Analyst\/Developer: 5-6 years IT industry total experience, with 3-4 years specifically in Salesforce.com development (coding) and implementation.
\nSFDC Senior System Analyst\/Senior Developer: 8-9 years IT industry total experience, with 5-6 years specifically in Salesforce.com development (coding) and implementation.
\nAny prior experience with other technologies like Java\/.Net is highly preferred
\nExperience in directly working with client in the US is a Must
\nCandidate should have strong hands-on experience in Apex\/Visualforce coding, and also in Salesforce administration, configuration and customization, including reports and dashboards
\nSALESFORCE.COM CERTIFICATIONS
\nMust Have: Advanced Certification DEV 501 (or Platform Dev 2) must have completed the 1st stage exam atleast, of the 3 stages
\nHighly preferred: SFDC Developer (DEV401) Certification and\/or Platform Developer 1 Certification, and Advanced Developer Certification (DEV 501) completed in full (all 3 parts)
\nDesirable: Admin (ADM201\/ADM301) or AppBuilder and Consultant (Sales Cloud\/Service Cloud) Certifications
\nFORCE.COM (SALESFORCE1) KNOWLEDGE
\nCandidate should have Strong Experience with Visualforce, Apex, Triggers, Eclipse IDE, Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Java-script
\nThorough knowledge of coding best practices, and understanding the limitations of Apex coding
\nVery good experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems using SOAP\/REST Services
\nExperience in working with Force.com Bulk API and the Metadata API
\nMust have sound implementation knowledge of workflow rules, validation rule, approval process, reports and dashboards
\nExperience using Apex Data Loader and other ETL tools such as Informatica or Boomi or Cast Iron
\nExperience with database development, SQL or PL\/SQL, database schemas, stored procedures is essential
\nFollow unit testing and test class best practices and should be capable of coding for positive and negative scenarios in testing
\nMust have experience with production deployment using change-set\/eclipse\/ANT migration tool, and working on solving deployment errors
\nGood to have Knowledge on HTML\/HTML5, CSS, XML, AJAX, Web-services, Google APIs, JQuery\/any other java-script framework
\nCandidate should have basic understanding of admin activities like user creation, role\/profile set up, Security set up etc
\nStrong hands-on experience with administration, configuration, customization and development within Salesforce.com, and also in reports and dashboards
\nCustomize and configure SFDC objects, data fields, page layouts, record types, workflows, document templates, reports and dashboards
\nGood to have Salesforce mobile development using Salesforce1\/vfmobile, Experience with Heroku, Radian6, Analytics et al
