{"id":13516,"date":"2016-09-14T14:39:42","date_gmt":"2016-09-14T14:39:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/?p=13516"},"modified":"2016-09-14T14:39:42","modified_gmt":"2016-09-14T14:39:42","slug":"the-big-merger-of-65000-crore","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/the-big-merger-of-65000-crore\/","title":{"rendered":"The big merger of 65000 Crore\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the biggest consolidation deal in India\u2019s telecom sector, Reliance Communications and Aircel \u00a0announced the merger of their wireless operations to create a combined entity with assets worth Rs 65,000 crore.<\/p>\n<p>RCom and Maxis Communications Berhad (MCB) hold 50 per cent each in the merged entity with equal representation on the board and committees.The transaction will reduce RCom\u2019s debt by Rs 20,000 crore ($3 billion), while Aircel\u2019s debt would go down by Rs 4,000 crore ($ 600 million) on closing in 2017, the two companies said.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images-blogger-opensocial.googleusercontent.com\/gadgets\/proxy?url=http%3A%2F%2F3.bp.blogspot.com%2F-btSqaUa4k48%2FVBG2OAJq9UI%2FAAAAAAAADLI%2FUqW2WcSn2n0%2Fs1600%2FAircel-Web2.jpg&amp;container=blogger&amp;gadget=a&amp;rewriteMime=image%2F*\" alt=\"Image result for aircel\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The merger will create India\u2019s fourth largest telecom operator by customer base and revenues.
