A medical panel has been formed to look into the evidence and forensic report that said the actor Sridevi “accidentally drowned” in a bathtub in her hotel room , a lawyer in Dubai told adding that “investigation should be satisfactory and anytime they can hold the body.”<\/p>\n

The police have recorded Sridevi’s husband, film director Boney Kapoor’s statement, reports said.<\/p>\n

India’s envoy to the United Arab Emirates Navdeep Suri said,”We are working with local authorities to ensure that mortal remains can be sent to India at the earliest. We are on the job.<\/p>\n

Our experience in similar cases tells us that it does take 2-3 days to complete processes,” Mr Suri tweeted.<\/p>\n

The ambassador cautioned against a “frenzy of speculation,” suggesting that “we leave it to the experts to determine the cause of demise Let’s be responsible.<\/p>\n

The embassy, he said, is in “regular contact” with Sridevi’s family.<\/p>\n
