{"id":129479,"date":"2018-02-14T13:25:48","date_gmt":"2018-02-14T07:55:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/?p=129479"},"modified":"2018-02-14T13:25:48","modified_gmt":"2018-02-14T07:55:48","slug":"mamata-no-modicare","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/mamata-no-modicare\/","title":{"rendered":"Mamata no to Modicare"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Slamming the Narendra Modi government for declaring a health insurance scheme &#8212; Modicare &#8212; without consulting the states, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday decided to opt out of the scheme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Addressing a public rally in Krishnanagar , Banerjee said the state will not \u201cwaste\u201d its hard-earned resources to contribute its share to the programme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You have decided that 40 per cent of that would have to be borne by states.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/MAMATA-MOD_I19_8_2013-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-129482\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/MAMATA-MOD_I19_8_2013-1.jpg\" alt=\"Mamata no to Modicare\" width=\"666\" height=\"338\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Why? Did you discuss with us before deciding on it? You cannot force us to pay.
