The BJP\u2019s \u2018soot-boot\u2019 jibe was an apparent response to Rahul\u2019s Gandhi\u2019s \u2018suit boot ki sirkar\u2019 remark that the Congress leader made on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for wearing a suit which had his name monogrammed over it during a meeting with the then US President Barack Obama in 2015.<\/p>\n

The suit was sold for Rs 4.31 crore in an auction later.Congress president Rahul Gandhi shunned his white kurta-pajama for blue jeans and a black jacket as he attended a rock concert in Meghalaya capital Shillong.
