I just think that we should be who we are and be able to express our strengths. If we are women, be absolutely feminine about it and show the world what is the respectable thing to do. Show that beauty in the way only a woman can do.\u201dsays Nithya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI think this whole thing cannot be specified just to the film industry. This is prevalent everywhere in the world. The film industry is just part of a bigger cake. So, whatever is in that cake will be in that slice too.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-121654 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/nithya-menen-actors-are-often-punished-by-media-and-public-for-speaking-their-mind-750-1496061656-1_crop.jpg\" alt=\"Society is hard to women \" width=\"750\" height=\"530\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There is nothing in the film industry which is different from the rest of the world. In that general sense, yes it\u2019s absolutely a patriarchal society and things are definitely easier for men. It\u2019s a bit more difficult for women to be taken seriously and to get respect from people,\u201d Nithya Menen told media.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nithya also says that its been a thing that has been happening for ages and it will take a while for the thought process to change. \u201cIt\u2019s been the case for centuries. I have come to accept it. I am not saying it is right or wrong, but that is how it is. I don\u2019t see gender when I look at the world. I have met fantastic men in my life and horrible women.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I have also met some amazing women and terrible men. I have seen women who are sexists. So, you can\u2019t bring gender into it as it becomes gross. That\u2019s not how it works.
