{"id":107966,"date":"2017-10-03T20:08:51","date_gmt":"2017-10-03T14:38:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/?p=107966"},"modified":"2017-10-03T20:08:51","modified_gmt":"2017-10-03T14:38:51","slug":"rs-100-notes-soon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/rs-100-notes-soon\/","title":{"rendered":"Rs 100 notes soon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Reserve Bank of India, RBI, has given a further push to its plans to ensure enough cash supply in the country through the widely promulgated remonetisation drive, a remedial step to make up for inconveniences caused during fifty days&#8217; demonetisation campaign.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The central bank has revealed it has plans to print new, redesigned Rs 100 notes, according to a report in the media.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;The existing Rs 100 currency notes will continue to be in the system and will be withdrawn gradually without any disruption,&#8221; HT quoted a central bank official as saying.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-107967 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/download.jpg\" alt=\"   Rs 100 notes soon \" width=\"531\" height=\"353\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It was also revealed the size and dimensions of the new Rs 100 notes will not be touched which means banks will not require recalibrating ATMs outside their branches.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Currently, Rs 100 is dispensed through ATMs across the country.
