Designed in size and scope to better accommodate the rapid expansion of U.S. business and cultural ties in our district, the complex will occupy a spacious 12.3-acre site at Nanakramguda in the Financial District within Cyberabad limits.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-106883  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/maxresdefault-3-e1505828132939.jpg\" alt=\"maxresdefault\" width=\"589\" height=\"453\" srcset=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/maxresdefault-3-e1505828132939.jpg 937w, https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/maxresdefault-3-e1505828132939-768x590.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 589px) 100vw, 589px\" \/><br \/>\n\u201cWhen we came to Hyderabad, nearly a decade ago, we recognized the boundless potential of this region,\u201d commented Consul General Katherine Hadda, \u201cOur new compound will allow us to better serve the many Americans living in the region, visa applicants looking to travel to the U.S., and the countless organizations we work with to deepen our commercial and cultural ties.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The new consular facilities will have the capacity to accommodate 1500 to 2500 visa applicants on a daily basis. While the current consular section has 10 functioning interview windows, the new building will increase this to 52 and also feature comfortable, air-conditioned waiting areas for applicants.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-106885 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/ktr-us-consulate.jpg\" alt=\"ktr us consulate\" width=\"595\" height=\"375\" \/><br \/>\nThe new consulate has been aesthetically designed to reflect the unique topography of Hyderabad while also being a world-class sustainable project employing passive and integrated energy-saving principles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Building features &#8212; including solar arrays, on-site wastewater treatment, and natural lighting &#8212; will reduce the compound\u2019s environmental impact, optimize building performance, and enhance the self-sufficiency of the campus.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new compound for the U.S. Consulate General in Hyderabad will break ground later this year, as part of the celebration of the 70th anniversary year of U.S.-India bilateral relations.
