{"id":104518,"date":"2017-08-22T11:51:35","date_gmt":"2017-08-22T06:21:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/?p=104518"},"modified":"2017-08-22T11:51:35","modified_gmt":"2017-08-22T06:21:35","slug":"triple-talaq-illegal-make-law","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/triple-talaq-illegal-make-law\/","title":{"rendered":"Triple talaq is illegal-make law"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Triple talaq, the controversial Muslim divorce law that allows men to leave their wives immediately by uttering &#8220;talaq&#8221; (divorce) thrice, has been banned by the Supreme Court, which today called it illegal, retrograde and unworthy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A panel of five judges said that triple talaq &#8220;is not integral to religious practice and violates constitutional morality&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The court called triple talaq &#8220;bad in law&#8221; and said: &#8220;We hope the legislature will consider and take into account Muslim Personal Law while making legislation.
