{"id":100980,"date":"2017-07-29T18:57:57","date_gmt":"2017-07-29T13:27:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/?p=100980"},"modified":"2017-07-29T18:57:57","modified_gmt":"2017-07-29T13:27:57","slug":"drink-reduces-diabetes-risk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/drink-reduces-diabetes-risk\/","title":{"rendered":"Drink reduces diabetes risk!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Drinking for over three to four days every week may reduce the risk of developing diabetes, a study has claimed.<\/p>\n<p>The studies have consistently suggested that light to moderate alcohol consumption is associated with a lower risk of diabetes compared with abstention in men and women, whilst heavy consumption is associated with a risk greater than or equal to that of abstainers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-100981 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Type-2-diabetes-Drinking-alcohol-could-reduce-risk-833802.jpg\" alt=\"Drink reduces diabetes risk!\" width=\"590\" height=\"350\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Previous studies examining the role of drinking patterns in relation to diabetes risk have given inconsistent findings, and studies on the effects of particular types of beverage are likewise inconclusive.<\/p>\n<p>Researchers from the University of Southern Denmark examined the effects of drinking frequency on diabetes risk, and also considered association with specific beverage types.<\/p>\n<p>They used data from about 70,551 Danish citizens aged 18 and over completed a self-reporting questionnaire including items on lifestyle and health.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Drinking for over three to four days every week may reduce the risk of developing diabetes, a study has claimed.
