Infrastructure for all round development in Telangana

Telangana cities and towns excel in Infrastructural development and standard of living. CM KCR and Municipal minister KTR guide the official machinery and governing bodies of cities and towns for attaining comprehensive development.

Urban areas in the state contribute two-thirds of the GDP in the state.

Hyderabad transformed into the best commercial and residential destination.

The State Government has undertaken road development in 104 corridors spread across 10 municipalities on the outskirts of the GHMC by connecting them with each other.

The Planned development approaches adopted by the state government of Telangana is enabling the urban areas to attain progress on the infrastructural development and other development activities on the urban development front. The state government has increased the urban local bodies in number from a previous 69 to the present 142 understanding the need of the future requirements of the public.

The area covered in the 142 ulbs is topographically just three percent of the state area but the GDP component is much High with ULBs contributing two thirds of the total share. The standard of living index at the national level has recorded Hyderabad as the best standard of living urban part in the nation for the last six consecutive years. Hyderabad is standing at the top of table in the per capita purchasing capacity, security, health care facilities, standard of living , economic competitiveness , property value increase and atmospheric transformation patterns.

The Telangana government is making every effort to bring the Hyderabad urban city in the top thirty urban parts of the world.

On the residential market front Hyderabad became top commercial destination point and in the urban infrastructure development side the state took up works to the tune of Rs 671.19 crore on SRDP 393.93 crores on CRMP schemes, 114.97 crores under HRDCL . In addition to these the GHMC got thirty-seven works accomplished under SNDP with Rs 735 crore grant and twenty one works were accomplished with an outlay of Rs 231 crore in the 21 surrounding municipal areas.

The sanitation works in the Ulbs was the top priority and the government granted Rs 3434 crores. The sanitation network in the urban parts has drastically increased with the infrastructure facilities provided by the government.

The Comprehensive development activities planned and implemented by the government are according to complete facelift to the urban areas and in GHMC limits the urban local body is undertaking the development works with its own funds to the tune of Rs 8965 crores.

The missing link roads spread across Hyderabad are developed with a strategic and planned approach and following these planning concepts the urban local bodies are transforming into successful development destinations.
