Vice President Venkaiah Naidu today suggested that the water resources and the environment should be saved at any cost. He was talking at an exhibition of Acqua under MPEDA. The role of the middlemen should be removed and the income must go to the farmer and also the producer he said.
A number of cold chains must come up for the preservation of acqua production by way of cold chains he suggested. Saying that water is the elixir of life, Venkaiah said that water is everything and that these resources are depleting.
He wanted the cooperation of all the sections fo the society to save the water. He said that the fishermen the real producer of the aqua products must get the right remuneration and the role of middlemen must be removed.
The data on the prices must be available online he suggested. The exports of the Aqua products must improve in a better form he said. The farmer must become the king he opined. Protect the climate and it will, in turn, protect the mankind he said.
Venkaiah said that like Swachch Bharat the save environment and save water program must be taken up in a big way. Earlier Venkaiah made a statement that the POK must be taken back by India. This statement became sensational and this was viral on the web.
